This was one of our top favorite sights in Ukraine in general! They have a very nice museum that is in English and Ukrainian. Along with the actual sight. Unfortunatly you cant see any of the actual cave drawings as they have been covered to preserve them. 

The sight dates back to before 20,000bc. Virtually every people from 20,000bc up to the middle ages came here and left drawings and paintings on the walls of the caves that are spread around the sight.

 The main attraction is a huge pile of sandstone rocks that at one time was one rock that broke into pieces creating hundreds of caves. The whole sight is still being excavated to this day with new discoveries made every year. If you are even close to the area this is a must see!
