Badeni Palace

Count Badeni Palace was constructed in 1810. It was the summer residence of the family until 1939. It is a monument to Classicism style. We were unable to go inside, as it was locked, but the interior is said to be gorgeouswith ornaments carved in the walls and spectacular stair cases. From 1961-2005 there was a military unit based here. It has remained empty since awaiting the realization of a project to turn it into a museum
