Here are some abandoned places that we discovered in Ukraine

Chorthiv (Devil's) Rock

As we approached this place our eyes were drawn to the monastery standing further up the hill. Once we found Devils Rock though we were mesmerized by it.

The rock juts out of the ground and is the only thing around. You can go to the top and find carving in the rock in the shape of a bath tub. The rock is 16 meters tall. Legend says it fell from the sky in ancient times. Since then it has had many roles from being an idol to being a burial place. The scenery around it is stunning.

Definitely worth the time to get here just be warned the last kilometer or so to get here is rather rough so it might be better to walk. Also near the rock are some very interesting caves you can go explore.
