Here are some abandoned places that we discovered in Ukraine

Heros of Kruty

This is a relatively new monument to a battle that took place here during the uprising of the Soviet Union.

It was here that a group of students tried to stop the Bolshevicks from advancing any further to Kyiv. The students were organized and sent here by train. About 400 students volunteered for the fight that would be against 4,000 Bolshevick soldiers. The students were able to hold the army and delay them for a while. In the end though 30 students were captured and killed by the Bolshevicks.

This monument was built in 2006 due to the fact that during the Soviet Union the students were looked at as criminals not the heroes they are remembered as in Ukraine.
