Korsun'-Shevchenkivs'kyi

An interesting little town with a nice big church in the center. In the river there is a statue to Rosich a character from Ukrainian Folklore. Just behind the statue on an island in the river there is a palace that was originally build in the mid 1700's. Now it has been turned into a park and museum. 

You can easily spend the day exploring this little gem in Cherkassy Oblast
