Yalta

Everyone knows about the Yalta where the leaders of the free world met during WW2! That is not this place but this town is also very interesting.

Having a long long history with ties to Greece this is a nice little town not far from the sea. They have an amazing park in the center along with plagues dedicating the park in Ukrainian and Greek. There is a very nice memorial park. There you will find memorials to Chernobyl, Afghanistan wars, WW2 and also to the people from the village that were killed by Stalin’s agents in the 1930’s.
