Church of the Ascension Mezhirov

We didn’t find this church in our months of research and talking to people leading up to this project. We are so glad we stumbled across it. The roads to get here are a mixture of good and bad but in Ukraine that’s life. 

Built in 1794 it worked up until 1945 when it was turned into a a grain storage house for a collective farm in the area. It is now in ruins but most of the inside is still int decent shape with the arches of the ceiling still there and very easy access to the roof for a nice view.
