Monastirok

This was a gem! We only found it because we were told by a friend to check it out. Warning though the road to get here is about 5 km long and its all rough gravel and dirt roads. It might be difficult in wet conditions. 

Monastirok was a cave monastery. Here you can find the remains of that monastery along with the construction of a new monastery compound on the same land. You are set on top of a cliff overlooking a river. The cave looks like something from the Flintstones Cartoons. With a large stone above it that looks like it is held up by a small column of stones. The views are very nice and we sat here for over an hour relaxing.
