Skala Podilska Castle

In the town of Skala Podilska there is an old castle. It doesn’t appear to be to much but it was fun to explore. This castle is nothing to amazing but one of the highlights was that you can still go in most of the tunnels that would have been under the castle. So you really get a feel for what it would have been like. 

Originally built in the 14th century that castle was destroyed over the years by multiple attacks. The castle that is there now was built in the 18th century. Unfortunately it was dismantled quiet a lot during the Soviet Union to acquire its stone for building materials.
